1.What happens during my first physical therapy appointment?

  • We will gather a history and perform a detailed examination after which we will discuss the evaluation findings and work together to develop a plan to address your complaints and get you feeling better! We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork on your first day

2.How are people referred to physical therapy?

  • Patients get to choose where they go to therapy! All you need is a prescription from your physician. You can ask your medical provider to fax the order to us or you can bring it with you to your first appointment.

3.What do physical therapists do?

  • Physical therapists are experts in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Each person's situation is different, so we use information from the evaluation to establish a custom plan for every patient to achieve their goals through exercise, manual therapy, and patient education.

4.Will my insurance cover physical therapy?

  • We accept most insurances that are available in Southwest Missouri. We also have a cash payment option for those who need it.

5.What should I wear to a physical therapy appointment?

  • Comfortable clothing that you can freely move in is always recommended.

6.How do I arrange my physical therapy appointment?

  • We work with your schedule to set your appointments. Extended morning and evening hours if needed. We also offer Saturday appointments for those who work!

7.How will my progress be measured?

  • We use your feedback as well as a number of objective measurements to ensure you're making progress towards your goals.

8.What do I need to bring with me on my first visit?

  • Referral (If not already sent)
  • Photo I.D
  • Insurance card
